$5000 Secondary School Proposal Winners

The Secondary School Proposal Contest awards a $5,000 grant based on the soundness and feasibility of a proposal submitted by the school’s student team. CMA Ontario developed the Secondary School Proposal contest in response to the funding needs and concerns of parents, teachers and school boards across the province. The contest’s aim is to teach students how strategy and management contribute to the world of accounting.

Gordon Graydon Memorial Secondary School, Mississauga

The winning team proposed to boost school spirit by renovating the school’s front door and to improve student safety by painting Kiss ‘n Ride lanes in the parking lot.

To improve school spirit, the team proposed making environmental improvements to the school, including creating an outdoor classroom.
