To find out if you would really like your chosen career, look for ways to experience it now. List people in your personal network who you can contact to help you gain some experience. How can part-time work or summer jobs give you a taste of your career? Where can you volunteer or join community associations or school clubs for experience? What co-op or work placement opportunities are offered by your school?
