Clear communication is key to working with people. You have to be a good communicator to ensure that otherpeople will do their part in making the tour succeed.

Every tour requires a team. You have to feel comfortable teaming up and sharing responsibility, while playing yourfull part as a team member.

Are you comfortable with data management?
The numbers underpin everything. The band manager has to know the numbers and be able to change them andrefer to them all the time. All the decisions are made by the numbers.

Do you like solving problems?
Problems are the stuff of everyday life. Many problems occur daily. The challenge and the fun come in finding theright solution. This is a CMA skill.

Are you good at analyzing?
The numbers are only as good as the ability to analyze them. Situation analysis is key to decision making. And that’s what a CMA does – makes key decisions that affect the directions of organizations.

Do you enjoy using computers?
Today, computers are the tools of the CMA. The band is managed on a spreadsheet. The project is developedusing software. The CMA uses a computer for all decision-making.

Do you like a fast pace, and interesting challenges?
